KindiLink is a play-and-learn program designed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who are not yet old enough to enrol in school. East Kimberley College is proud to be supported by both the Perth-based KindiLink team and the Kimberley Schools Project KindiLink program based in Broome.
Early childhood education plays a vital role in developing children’s thinking skills, while also supporting their social and emotional growth through interaction with others. Parents are encouraged to support their child’s learning journey by understanding the importance of enrolling in early education. Research shows that much of a child’s critical brain development occurs before they even reach kindergarten.
KindiLink recognises that parents are a child’s first and most important educators. The early years lay the foundation for a child’s future, shaping their ability to learn, build relationships, and thrive in school and beyond.
