Car Parks and Delivery Areas

The car park known as ‘Mango Block’ off Coolibah Drive (the block between the school and TAFE) is available for parking.   Please follow the signage, arrows and ground markings. Angle parking is available and you MUST walk your child/children to class from the parking area. Parents are to enter through one gate and exit via the other. Please drive safely.

Parents/Caregivers are NOT to use the staff car park (off Mangaloo Street) for the purpose of dropping-off or collecting children.  Please use the car bays on Mangaloo Street or Coollibah Drive.  Council Rangers regularly patrol the area and issue infringement notices.

Under no circumstances are parents/caregivers to park or stop in the entrance to car-parks or obstruct footpaths or school gates!

Parents/caregivers are asked to restrict their speed in the vicinity of the school to the 40Km/h limit and to refrain from parking on our neighbours’ verges and street lawns.

Senior School students who are licensed to drive are able to park their vehicle at the rear of the senior school block.  Once parked, the vehicle is to remain parked until the end of the school day or until such time that the student is leaving the school site for the day.  Under no circumstance are students permitted to transport another student in their vehicle during school hours.  The school reserves the right to terminate consent for a student to bring a vehicle onto school property.

Confidence and Independence

It is desirable for children (Year 3 to Year 6) to walk to their classroom unaided and to prepare for their day’s work.  This develops confidence and allows children to display initiative.  Likewise, at the end of the day, encourage your child to become self reliant and responsible for their own bag and belongings.
